debenhams selected lines go blue cross early

debenhams have now reduced selected departments on all divisions earlier than planned.blue cross still officially starts on 3rd july but they have reduced quite a lot of lines from thursday 26th june.some examples are;
bras and briefs on lingerie have gone from 30% to 50% off and from 50% off to 70% off.ladies maine all 30% off has gone to 50%off.all 30% and 50% mens shirts have gone further down.handbags 25% and 30% have gone to 50% and the 40% and 50% have gone to 70%.
also as i said in a previous thread a lot of the home special buys are not selling so the majority go to 70% off from thursday 26th june.
there are still more mark downs to come on the original planned blue cross date next week.if they change i will let you know.

yes but the stores have been given the go ahead to start price changes from
tuesday 1st july.there is a lot of work involved in actioning these changes so although a considerable amount will be done today, most will not be finished until wednesday with the official launch thursday.the prices will be on the items tuesday/wednesday but the tickets to hi-light the offers will not be on until thursday.

just a quick question if you don't mind - i saw a handbag I liked on Sunday (portsmouth store) at 40% off - does that mean it won't be reduced any more - it looked like it had already been reduced twice (20% then 40%) - thanks in advance!!
