IE problem - message too short

I can't use Internet Explorer to post as I get the message too short error, which is wrong. How do I fix it ?

Hiya, I get this message when I use my work internet but not at home (it doesn't matter if you write a page of text it still says it on work one) and both use IE - I don't understand it either I'd say the only difference with work internet may be security settings!!

i get the same problem as sweetie. no matter how long a message i type, if i'm using the pc at work, it says 'message too short'. any ideas on how to remedy? i like to peruse the forums (and reply) in my lunch break!

Go to cp user, then edit options and down the bottom select the standard editor, quite a few of us had the same problem a while back and Ivan Opinion sorted the answer for us.

looks like i've circumvented the system then! thanks to chatta/ivan opinion! currently typing this from work....on my lunch hour of course!

Thank you so much for this - finally worked out what CP user was, having looked in Control Panel for two days!! doh!
