I must be dim but whats the advantage of getting one of these? Don't you have to pay £10 per month to get 100 mins or 100 text messages.

That seems about an average deal to me - i must be missing the point. Can someone explain ?

But you get to keep the £10 as well to use, and they are offering other free bolts ons as well. You can also use the inclusive minutes to make cheap/free Intl Calls by using 0844/07744 access numbers. ;)

I think the 100 minutes are cross-network though. I have a contract Vodafone and gave the O2 SIM to my son who rings me all the time.

On his useless Orange SIM it was costing him 50p/min to call me but although he's called me several times in last few days his £10 credit is still sat at £9.80 (neither of us know where the 20p went.)

 I thought I was getting a good deal at £2.00 each. It is right though, that its alot harder to get a good price for them these days, but I have just bought a dvd recorder with my profit, thanks 02 :D . As I spend alot on my contract with 02, I think I deserve something back in return :D .
