Yes, i had to surrender a domain name myself before, i was gutted and the company who took it was faceparty, i had the name aceparty and they had the copyright for all extensions of the domain. best to give it to them free rather than pay court costs. afterall domains can be bought for as little as £3 nowIf you like my posts, please thank me :beer:0

hello there
First of all this is not an affiliated links. (It is Direct Link)
All experienced user can see what kind of offer this is.
Anyhow I would write down summary of this FREE offer for new users
Only domain name is free. (Free hosting can be found here )
You can transfer it to another registrar before it expires. (If you do not renew it would just EXPIRE)
Cheaper domain transfer can be found elsewhere when renewal is due. for about £4 a year.
You do not need credit card details to enter if you have PayPal.
You do not have to buy any hosting plan from Network solution.
It is one per customer.
you can Take .com on your name and .co.uk on your partner name.
Whats the catch:
Web forwarding (Redirection) is not free. (Get free hosting as above to overcome this catch)
You can not transfer before 60 days. (which is normal with every registrar)
If your domain name become asset to you, you might wanna sign up with them i.e. money might not be an object and you might renew it with network solution. (thats what they are hoping for)
I am sure it is pretty straight forward FREEBIE however it is not for technophobics0 -

I am sure it means
"You can not change or transfer the ownership of .co.uk domains."
nothing to do with changing registerar.

Hiya Computerbar,
I don't know anything about owning a domain so could you put me right if I've mis-understood any of the following?:
1) I get a free domain name of my choice, registered free with Network Solutions for an initial period of 2 years.
2) After 60 days, during which the domain will show an 'under construction' page, I will be able to transfer it to a free web-hosting company using a registrar who will charge, say, £4.
3) At this point the domain becomes 'mine' and I will be able to use any web forwarding feature the free hosting company gives to re-direct visitors to an existing website.
If I can transfer the domain after 60 days then I'll be 'finished' with Network Solutions, so to speak: if the transfer goes smoothly, is there anyway I can then go to PayPal and prevent Network Solutions from making any 'accidental' withdrawals? I don't like the idea of leaving someone with permanent access!
Thanks

Can anyone help, please?
