Global Credit Management

Has anyone any idea's on how to get rid of these morons?? I only have a bit of debt now and having got rid of the debt / hassled the creditors / DCA's myself for the last 3 years I'm not looking forward to doing an IVA for £13k !!!

8 days now they have called and I've been polite on 3 occassions, downright rude and aggressive on the 4th, Severely abusive on the 5th, hung up on the 6th's back to polite and asking where they were based on the 7th ( no solid info ) and today ( two calls from them, first female in India ( presuming a muslim) I done the "Oh my god is that really you Shanita... are you still wearing those sexy red knickers... it's so long since we spoke tact...... then the next one was an indian male so I done the above but with the sexy leather hot pants lover routine....

It really winds me up, probably because i start to laugh and can't get a good line going so I'd like some idea's please.

Long shot here - have you tried the letter stating all communication should be in writing?

.. Just had another call from the same company.today... spoke to 3 different levels of authority ( or so they said),, was told I would have my name removed from their list.. .. !

But discovered my name and contact details etc are on a commercially available database :mad: How I do not know... But parent comapnay is in Leicester, on Old School Road, LE5 4PJ, they have been up established for 20 years.. have links to some site known as iva.co.uk.. ( again not visited by me until today.. to see what it was),, and the calls are being made from an 0203 number from India.. !

    Hope that helps ..
  • I just took a call from these. My first. I kept him on for ages trying to get him to explain to me what constitutes a legal entity. He got confused and put his manager on. I took the !!!! out of him too, so don't expect a call back any time soon!

    *touches wood!

Don't be so sure these have been onto me again twice in 3 days but seeing as my wife is off work at the mo she gets to the phone before me so I haven't had a chance to play with them again.

I think a call to the trading standards or something might be in order.
  • We kept getting calls from another debt management company on a daily basis

In the end we told them we had one debt to one creditor and never heard from them after that.

Well there are 2 ways: one tell them all communication must be in writing. Repeat this to them on several occassion if necessary.

Then tell them you are recording the calls - take a not of time, date etc
and complain to them , Trading Standards, OFT, etc. Report them to the police for harrassment if necessary.

The other strategy is the imfamous zincoxide strategy on how to wind them up:

  • Had 2 calls yesterday and 1 this morning. i kept asking him if they made any money out of this. He kept saying it was a free service. I again asked if they make money out of this. This goes on for about 15 minutes. I then tell him that my brother, who works for the office of fair trading has just turned up to visit me and he would like to speak to them!!!! Guy hangs up.....wonder why? icon7.gificon7.gificon7.gif
  • I used the zinc oxide method yesterday. He asked if he could speak with mr x and I said yes. ok he said can I confirm your dob, address etc so I used Santa Clauses details. Each time I gave false info.... (welll I don't know santa's REAL date of Birth do I ) he skipped that section and went onto the next.... dead security conciuos.
