IanRR is posting comments that are promoting a service, believed to be a kitchen company.
Ok, I am normally a man of my word, but I just had to come back on this one.....

I have no connection with any kitchen co, or property investment millionaire.

I am promoting nothing, as I have no financial interest, or indeed any interest whatsoever in this guys wellbeing or wealth.

I am sharing with people, THE BEST, and most motivational book, I have ever read. It has made me an awful lot of money, and saved me an awful lot of money (which I thought was the purpose of this site), and may well do for you. I cant imagine anyone who has read it, has ever bothered, but it offers a full money back guarantee.

Try a google on Andy Shaw. If it does take you to a kitchen co, get a new search engine!

the reviews on amazon are polarised. when i see really really over enthusiastic reviews all giving 5 and then see the rest being more down to earth giving much lower marks, i think that the positive reviews are all written by friends and family, the 'real' reviewers dont seem to rate him much

Or it could just be a really good book........ with a few who were unimpressed!

I am happy to PROMISE you that I have never met Andy Shaw. Neither am I on his pay roll, or related to him, or anything else that you were about to suggest. I just read his book, and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in saving money. I thought that was what we were here for? No one is going to twist your arm. Its a free choice. 20 quid with a complete refund guarantee seems a fair deal to me, but I had better shut up, or you will be saying that I am protesting too loud, and so must be guilty!

Great...now will you just answer my question?!

Your credibility is sinking even faster than the price of a new build flat.

Well now that's a pity as I was hoping you can pass a message on to him. That is I never rate people who don't date their blog entries. What's the point of him banging on about such-and-such is a good thing to do if it was written two years (or whatever ago). And without any dates the reader has no idea when it was written. At which point if the reader is anything like me they stop reading!!!!

I can see the merits of what IanRR is saying however, I still feel it has more pitfalls than benefits, and Ian is either failing to mention them or see them. Anyway I still feel it's a misguided point of view but you don't become rich by playing safe (let me know if you can:wink:) - I'd like to hear from him in 5 years time to see if he still thinks the same way.

And getting back to my question - do we think it's not a good idea to sell at auction? lol

    Thats great Mike,

Be happy with it. I prefer to spend my money, in the main, on things that dont depreciate, like cars. And I certainly dont want money locked up in a property, that I am not using to multiply my gains.... I use my money, to make more. Thats exactly why you need some serious advice.

But a paid for property, and a nice car, is pretty good by many peoples standards. Well done.....
