thankyou all for your replys
will put some rails in airing cupboard and leave door open a little bit,
we have a (Loft unit) which council put in so dampness should not be a problem thanks again
its designed to create a continuous input of air . This will effectively combat condensation dampness and mould growth and meets or contributes towards the F1 Building Regulation requirements for ventilation. Loft units create a continuous drying out process in dwellings and will help provide protection for hygroscopic material such as books, leather goods, wooden furniture, clothing and other fabrics from mould.
The continuous air movement throughout the property creates surface evaporation of moisture contained in the building fabric. This in turn, creates a drying out process, which means that there will be less hidden moisture to heat up increasing efficiency savings.0 -

I've stuck a drying rack up in the greenhouse (I'm calling it my solar drier LOL) It's working brilliantly - I don't have to rush out to drag stuff in if it clouds over. It's especially good for little things, I'm still putting sheets/towels on the line.

Careful if you use it over the door that noone shuts the door if it's a close fitting door, I had dints in the door and frame of the old house because of that.
I like normal free standing airers, I put clothes on them then put them outside, much easier just to carry in instead of dragging everything off the line when the showers start (which is a lot at the mo)
Conservatory works well, probably similar to a greenhouse idea but be careful with fabrics that fade easy. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
