He has just spent 2 months working 12/13 hour days moving into a reposessed house and having a nightmare. Also has changed internet provider/email and BT have messed up his phone number and forced him to change that too so maybe thats why.

Nelly has done a great job for me.

I contacted him following seeing his posts regarding plastering on this site.

I needed a top quality plasterer for my physiotherapy clinic Manchester Physio

The whole clinic needed replastering and Nelly did a great job. I am a perfectionist and had to fire the plaster that I had before Nelly due to a low quality finish. There are some real cowboys out there in Manchester so be careful.

Nelly did a fantastic job plastering the whole clinic. The finish needed to be perfect and it ws!!! I was very impressed by his quality and the speed he carried out the work. So much in fact that his is currently doing the external rendering of the whole clinic.

I have already recommended him to a friend who needed their hall stairs and landing doing in Stockport and they too were very happy with his work.

I would definitely recommend using his if you want top class plastering for a reasonable price.

I aint a mind reader! Nor a psychic! How about a bounce back message from his old email provider, or alternative provisions..? It's not my problem he has changed internet provider/email... Granted these things happen, but I aint flying off the handle, and I can't like i say ,see into other peoples lives!

Sorry to be rude but get a life! I have a busy life and don't have time to ring every tradesmen who doesn't respond to my emails...I am sure i can speak for almost everyone on these boards and say we have all been messed around by tradesmen, that is why we (I) are all constantly looking for decent and reliable tradesmen. As Nelly responded to my original email, and then didn't respond to the response, I am more than justified in saying that I didn't find him reliable (this is a potential indicator of what he MIGHT be like whilst doing a job).

I haven't criticised him unjustly, been rude, unfair etc etc just given my (fair) opinion based upon the experience I have had from him. If you don't like it or feel it's out of order, thats up to you.

Nelly has also done work for a friend and he was very happy with the cost and finish.

Orphie forgot to mention Nellys abscess which made him look like a demented hamster stocking up for new years. :rotfl:

Seriously you are reading the post the wrong way. All I see was ophie telling you about a couple of probs nelly had, thats all.
I hope people reading will give nelly the benefit of doubt and contact him at the end of the day hes a good plasterer (from comments ive seen written) I think its very unfair to talk about him when he cant reply so with that I shall say goodnight
