Vanquis Application.

in Credit cards
Hi Everyone,
I really need some help as Vanquis are starting to drive me mad !, I made an online application on 6th June, got the phone call from them telling me I had been accepted with a £250 limit on the 13th June and also told my card would be with me in 14 days (Also told about the 39p per £100 insurance on the card and took that out and was welcomed to Vanquis, she even offered to transfer the £250 credit limit as a loan direct to my bank account without the normal cash advance fee 'For today' only, but I said no thanks).
Last Friday after still hearing nothing I call them and was told the card had not yet been made up, but I should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday, so today I phone them and they tell me that I should hear within the next few weeks as my application is still being processed and has only been 'Provisionally Approved' !.
Is this true or surely the phone call means I was accepted ?, it seems like one department does not know what the other is doing, and I really do not want to get my hopes up if I have no chance of getting this card.
Thanks.

After weeks of waiting (Applied online 6th June), getting a phone call from vanquis a week later saying I had been accepted, then nothing for weeks I was told when I phoned them today that a credit agreement was posted to me 2 days ago that I need to sign and return and then my card will be issued, but I have defiantly been accepted !.
I thought by applying online I did not need to sign anything ?.

I've always had to sign for cards and I've always applied online. I think it's just one of those things you have to do.You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0
