Good for you Maz, a true friend indeed. I hope he manages to get sorted.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

Good for you Maz!
Your friend sounds like a lot of people I know, want to get out of debt, but don't want to put any work into it!
I'm sure though, if you give them a shove in the right direction ( as you have ) & get them started, once they see the benefits they'll be well away!:TComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Awwww thanks guys! Lets hope he takes some things on board... and realises how fab everyone around here is!
Jinky, i'll be mindful of his wife's feelings though. Good point hun.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Um, I recognise that I'm 'transferring' here (and as a newbie I might be seen as 'speaking out of turn')...
But, I personally would be mortified if I came to this site, on a friend's invitation, and found myself being discussed before I'd even joined up, and chosen to share my story
Just a thought, but a heartfelt one.0 -

 I know where you're coming from on this one honey, but he's not really been "discussed" has he?
We know he's a man with money worries, and a buddy of Maz's, that's all.
I think Maz was very careful not to give any details, and we - The DFW Massive
- have resisted the urge to ask for them, because as you so rightly say, it's up to him if he chooses to share his story or just read everyones else.
(I think Maz said something like that to him as well.)
Anyway... I just thought I'd stick my twopennorth in - as I am known to do.

Welcome to the board sweetie!
