Think I paid about £65 - £70 for mine. It really was worth it though as it does help alleviate my neck and back pain.Laughter is the sun

Look out for offers. I bought my Tempur pillow last year in a special event at the local stockist. It was a weekend only special and cost me about £40. It is excellent (I have a neck and upper back 'problem'). It took a week or so to get used to it as it is quite firm and feels quite different to other pillows - even 'special' neck type ones (and, believe me, I've tried lots!).
I'd love to have one of their matresses as well but at over £1000 I think Martin woul not approve! :-X0 -
My wife is a Physiotherapist & goes to trade shows & exhibitions for the disabled etc. I go along to carry the brochures! The companies that sell these sort of pillows & matresses always exibit, including tempur. They always do deals on the day. We picked up 4 memory foam pillows for £20 each. These retail at £60 & are of a very high quality.
Do a search on altavista or similar for the exhibitions.I'm a headhunter. Can you talk?0 -

Did you mean any kind of exhibition or did you mean exhibitions for Physio's etc ?
I have done a search

There is a list of suppliers here:
http://www.physiofirst.org.uk/public/default.asp
These are the companies that exibit, some may deal direct with you, some won't.
Here is another useful list:

Hope this helps

I have always dreamed of a tempur pillow( or mattress) and you will be gutted when you read this....
I spotted one in a local charity shop today and it had hardly been used and was priced at £2.50! Pure luck and timing.
What are the chances of a mattress ( that has hardly been used) appearing?
Try your local charity shops- you never know0 -

I got a very good price when I bought my Tempur bed from them over a year ago. Certainly a lot cheaper than Selfridges or places like that.0 -

hi guys,
I have not been on this thread for a while.
I have since bit the bullet and bought two tempur pillows at about £55 each and am so enjoying them
I would so love to buy a mattress - been told thta if I have a back problem and can get my doctor to substantiate it, then I can get the mattress less vat.
At £1049, it would be a great 17.5% savingA0 -
I wouldn't bother with the cheap pillows from Matalan as they are made out of cheap material.
Tempur pillows are made from a certain material which contours around your neck and provides support. This same kind of pillow can be bought from a chiropracters. My mother bought one - which I stole from her - and it's made from the same material as Tempur but only cost £40.00.0
