Legal insurance which covers employment

Hi there,
Could anyone recommend me a good legal insurance which covers employment? A lot of people might face redundancy over the next 6 months although it has not been communicated yet. It happened in the past though and former colleaugues had to take my employer to court.
What kind of cover would you recommend?
And is it only available combined with home insurance? If yes, I have not had a home insurance before in the UK and my 2 friends and I are renting a house whereby 2 of us would require the legal insurance as we are working for the same employer.
