Problem with Yahoo Mail

I have two Yahoo accounts. The one that I use most often has suddenly stopped sending emails - at least I think so! I belong to the Freecycle group on Yahoo and my posts are not appearing, neither do the emails that I send myself from work. They do appear in the 'Sent items' folder so I can access them, but they don't appear in the Inbox. Now I can't be sure that the replies and emails I am sending out are actually going out despite appearing in Sent folder! Can anybody help?

I have tested whether I can send from my working account to the one that isn't working and the emails do appear more or less instantly in the Inbox. However this doesn't work the other way round. Can anyone help as I don't particularly want to re-register with Freecycle?

Have you attempted to contact Yahoo to see if they are experiencing any difficulties at the moment?

I can receive but cant send emails.
