in the 6th bar which i run 16 year olds can have ;- beer ,wine and cider as long as they have it with a meal, they are not allowed to purchase alcohol but it can be bought for them by a responsible adult,,(we use a swipe card system so no money changes hands)
this is also at the discretion of the local liscensing magistrate,Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
My birthday is on christmas eve so I always go out the weekend before my birthday to celebrate. One place we used to go to let 16+ people in but you had to show ID if you wanted your hand stamped so you could go to the bar. This one time they ID'd everyone going in and even though I was still 17 for the next few days they stamped my had because they pittied me having my birthday over xmas. Illegal yes but I thought it was a very nice gesture.0
