I do a lot of shopping via the internet, especially media items. This site has a wide range of offers I found useful, especially the HMV deals. There is a Christmas special up for BOOTS which I'll definitely use and the offers appear to change regularly.0

I have registered with Rpoints and have made my first few transactions. How long do I have to wait for before anything shows on my statement? I have waited a few days but nothing at all is showing.
Am I right in thinking it could be 14 days?0 -
Some once posted a web address which would compare cds throughout the cd wow web sites. Meaning you could check a cd and find out the cheapest cd wow site on which to buy. Does anyone know or remember the site? Thanks0

Just type in the CD you are looking for and it will bring up the price at a number of retailers. It even tells you if the postage is free.
There is also a similar site for DVDs at: http://www.find-dvd.co.uk
Great for getting the best prices.

No Art this is not it. it was only for cd wow and it searched the cd wow network only. you put in the cdwow product code and it told you which cd wow site was the cheapest, ie
dollars, euros etc.0 -
Found it. Thanks Art.0

Do you know, I always thought until I read this site that Play.com was the pretty much always the cheapest retailer around for CDs. After looking at this site a friend recommended I have a look at http://www.media-pricer.co.uk, I also had a look at http://find-cd.co.uk although I preferred the layout of the media-pricer one. So many sites are cheaper than Play! These sites are going to save me a lot of money, thanks!0

Yes, both are excellent sites to find the cheapest CDs. if it's DVDs you're looking for this can be checked out at:
http://www.find-dvd.co.uk
or just select DVD on the menu bar in media-pricer.

Thanks for the info. I've had a look at them both and personally I think that Media Pricer is a bit easier to use. The site is well structured and everything is categorised by artist/album, or actor/director/film. There's also a PriceTrack feature which looks quite interesting. I don't know how well it works but I've put a couple of CDs and DVDs on there and its meant to e-mail me when the price changes. If it works then it will be a useful feature.
By the looks of things the site has only started recently and plans to include books and games in the near future. It will be interesting to see how it develops...0
