Where to sell leftovers?

I've managed to clear out a whole load of stuff on ebay thanks to all the great advice Iv'e found on here and the ebay forums, we're kind of down to the last bits that I didn't know what to do with now.

Can anyone tell me the best place to sell books and audio casettes?

The casettes I'm going to shift in shoe boxes full I think as I don't think they'll shift individually (mostly albums from the 90's) so I will categorise them and sell as job lots I reckon

For the books am I better off selling elsewhere or on ebay? I've got a mixture of novels, non-fiction etc they are all up to date

When I get to that stage, it's donated to the local kids charity shop and the charity book stall in the local hospital. :)

  • If the books are in reasonable condition then amazon can be better than eBay.

Oh you've made me feel really bad now!

Perhaps I should take the cassettes to Cancer research at the weekend and I will think on with the books

Are the cassettes audio books? If they are I might be interested in seeing a list for my nan who can't see too well and I would be willing to pay.

Mine went to the charity shop too .... there were lots there already....!!!!

Has anyone had much luck with music tapes from the 80's and 90's??

I know that audio books do well. So would try to sell those.

With regards to the charity shop ...not being rude but i don't think they will go to well there anyway!! Why don't you try phoning music shops etc (Second hand) they may tell you where to sell or even want them!!

Always check out the "want it now" to see if you have something someone else wants!

the shoebox idea may be ok but would weigh a lot!
