for call as much as you like phone calls to uk landlines at any times. I was quoted £9.99 for my 2 lines at home (dont need BT they say) in addition to the line rental that i have to keep with NTL (NTL have been charging me £15.99).
thanks in advance for any tips.

Telecom Plus (Utility Warehouse Discount Club) do charge a fee of £1.50 a month to belong. On top of that their Unlimited call package is £9.50p a month. Then their is line rental of £10 a line a month. If you have got free caller display T-Plus charge for theirs.
Most NTL customers tend to make good savings if they reduce their phone package to basic, and sign up for https://www.call.1899.co.uk and use the 0808 cable freephone access number. All calls to 01/02 numbers are just 3p a call any length, and mobile calls are cheaper.10p peak and evenings 3p at weekends.(Just 3p connection)
Bear in mind that you have to really be an heavy user to benefit from 01/02 inclusive 24/7 packages. You would get approx 333 01/02 calls a month(Approx 76 a week) before you spent £9.99p on 1899.Also if you are on Holiday or away you are not paying a monthly fee for something you are not using.PF.0
