£9.99 offer from SVP.co.uk
Thanks
But my query is can you really write 4.7GB in 5 minutes? My DVD burner will probably require 80 minutes to finish a DVD write-once disk (and it seems to depend on the medium used too?). So does the above claim rest on various assumptions unlikely to born out in practice? This AD-7173A model offers impressive DVD writing speeds and includes Labelflash technology to give your DVDs an attractive finishing touch. With 18x writing speeds on offer for DVD-R/+R media, 4.7GB of data can be burned in around 5 minutes.
Thanks

The 5 minutes will be for a data disc so it's not converting video etc and the disc would need to be an 18x disc too.
If for example your blank dvd is only a 2x disc then that's as fast as it's going to burn at.0 -
My 4 year old DVD writer manages 4.7GB in about 15 mins.....Stompa0
