So, I'm seriously considering bankruptcy.
If I go bankrupt, can I get a job?
If I go bankrupt, can I start my own business, if I don't have to borrow any money, like an online affiliate marketing business?
If I set up a website that just gives info and has affiliate links, is that really classed as a business?

Hi NoMoney
Hope you are OK.
Definately can be sole trader even if BR, or partner in partnership, however cannot start a Limited Co. I think you should be ok with the website.
Business is fine but make sure not Ltd Co.
Take care, Angexx0 -

Yeah I did.
I can't afford a debt repayment plan.
I can't get an IVA because I don't owe enough!!
So yeah bankruptcy is my only option....0 -

Hmm, I just went to the CAB today and they're saying I have to pay £335 rather than £495 because I'm on benefits.
I asked if I could get a legal aid solicitor to handle this and they said no?
Does that mean I'll have to pay the £335?0 -
Its actually £345 now and unfortunately you will not be exempt from this as it's the OR's fee.
the £150 you're exempt from is the court fee.:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
Can I not just get a legal aid solicitor that won't cost me anything to act as the or?0
-
Unfortunately not, the OR isn't a solicitor.

Looks like i will get mine wavered but.....finding evedence is going to be tough, as the benefits I receive are not on the list, they want a letter within one month of the date stating I receive them. I dont get a monthly letter from the Icapacity Benefit or the DLA!!!!! Looks like ill take the most recent and some bank statements..."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"
