That you could, if Kenwood hadn't been taken over by De'Longhi in 2001. If you buy Kenwood you're buying Italian.

You people are silly umming and aring over the £149 price when you want one. I dont need one as i have a Kitchen K50 Grey commercial, as i work for a company that sells them. I picked mine up for £146, but it was a recon.
We also sell the Domestic model, which is the one on amazon... and i can tell you that the price amazon were selling them at is at virtual cost price. They will only be making at the maximum a 10% profit on that price up.
I personally wouldnt touch kenwood. But thats becuase if people bought Kenwood, i wouldnt have any money to spend at the end of the month

I bought this one from Amazon a few months ago and love it. I use it to mash potatoes, saves a lot of elbow grease.

I've got an ordinary Kenwood with an open bowl & K beater/liquidiser etc but have never heard of mashing potatoes in it - any tips? I thought you couldn't mash potatoes successfully in a machine - according to my old HE teacher anyway
Would be great if it wasn't too much of a fuss. 0 -

A machine overworks the gluten and the mash becomes too sticky.0 -

I put the potatoes in first and mash them...then add the milk and butter and beat again. Always works for me....I use floury type potatoes.
