default notice

According to cap one I have defaulted and they have put a default notice on my credit history. Now... I have served notices for various other parts of the law... but from Cap one I haven't received any form of papers to confirm this... Now I couldn;t expect anyone to conform to a notice without receiving it and a telephone call isn;t enough. I have since agreed to a payment plan but I'm concerned about this default notice that hasn't materialised. Where do I stand with this?
