Sky and cable do subscription HD packages, however there is a new free satelite service called freesat that offers subscription free HD. Its called Freesat, the HD boxes are around £150 and dish installation is £80 if you dont allready have a dish. It works fine on old Sky minidishes though if you have one. At the moment you get BBC HD and ITV HD, not a massive ammount of content just yet though mainly football and tennis at the moment. More to come in the future and its a great option if you dont want to pay a monthly subscription.0 -
some TV's are starting to come out with inbuilt freesat....0
