Try to format it through XP.
Go into START>CONTROL PANEL>ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS>COMPUTER MANAGEMENT then double click on STORAGE and then DISK MANAGEMENT. Right click on the drive and select format.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0 -

It's the same in 2000.
You need to use something like Norton Ghost Partition Magic or similar to transfer the system from one drive to the other. Windows won't let you copy some of the system files when it's in runningHug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

Thanks blinky, I'm sure that it is partitioned & formatted ok. in the software there is a section which does allow you to copy original disc but in my case it keeps re-booting the comp. at different stages.0

I'm sure there's some freeware Partition copying software but I can't think of one of the top of my head.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:
