EEEEWWW! Can i join please? My mum shas put some of our bits of naff debts onto an interest free card. It's approx £1500, but I'm awaiting a reply to my text to find out exactly how much!
I would really like to get rid of this by Christmas if possible. I already owe her another approx. £800 from something else. But I'll never manage the whole lot, so no point even going there! It seems that this is the best thing for me to aim to clear, cos it' the only debt with obviously no minimum payments etc. I will never miss a payment for a "real" debt if you know what I mean, but as it's my mum that I owe, I don't want to adopt the- "oh it's okay, it'll wait" attitude, cos my mum is so soft and it's not fair on her.
Interest rate is obviously 0%, so I know everything I make will come off the debt total.

Can we use any means neccessary (!) to get the money together? (sounds a bit iffy that- I shall re-phrase!) I mean like we can make the extra payments using money from anywhere. Dunno how to work it, I know I'm not making sense. I'm very tired!
    Someone help me out!!!

    xx

    Welcome aboard Hypno.

My total looks so teeny compared to everyone elses :o. Not going to set myself up to fail though so will stick with that and if I clear it beforehand I will add a smaller one on.

You're on the list. I don't mind how you pay it off lol but legal and ethical ways would be preferred :rotfl:

    Good luck.

Can i aim to pay part of a debt by christmas. my egg loan has the highest interest rate and i would love to get it down quicker, its flexi so i can make overpayments.

I would like to over pay by £1500 by christmas which would reduce the loan term by 6 months.

Is it ok to join with this target?

I'm going to use my £10/day money from July-December towards this challenge if no body minds. So I'll claim my fame on both boards for the same cash :D
