Help with mastercard

in Credit cards
I recently bought an Ipod for my son, paid with my mastercard!
It has now been stolen and I would like to know if it is covered by the insurance or anything like that!
I always thought things were covered when I used my credit card!?

Not convinced...most of the "insurance" you hear about on credit cards is for stuff like when you pay for something and it doesn't turn up, or against price drops when you buy something...
You may be able to claim on your home/contents insurance, but probably isn't worth it...0 -
Does you credit card provider actually say that you are covered for this?
If not your best bet is to see whether you are covered by your house insurance.
Best also to check the excess first - it could be that you lose your no claims for nothing.0
