There are a few rental places in Soldeu, the best one I found is a few yards down from the main 4 seater lift departure (car park area) you can also keep your gear in the cellar overnight. Otherwise rent a few boxes up the main meeting area, you will just have to go back down on foot. There are other places slightly cheaper but you wont get good service and overnight park.

Have you checked the Soldeu website for prices of lift passes? Often you can order them on line & have them delivered to your hotel/apartment. It will also tell you whether you need an electronic hands free pass (often at a deposit) or whether you need to take a photo.
