    I was getting really despondent - for 2 years running I had managed to get free tickets to the Vitality Show (usually between £10 and £20 depending on when you book) by entering competitions etc.

    Yesterday I found a phone message from an old client of mine who knows I love this show, telling me that a friend of hers had offered her 2 tickets as she could not attend, and was I interested? WOW! This year will be the 3rd year running that I go to the show for free.

    In fact this year will not be for free because I am planning to send the kind woman a thank you card for her kindness!

    The show is really entertaining and one can get so many freebies (always go with an empty rucksack and a couple of spare bags!) that it would even make up for the entry price, but somehow I resent paying for being at the receiving end of publicity and products promotions, which is what this show is all about!
