Steam cleaner for the pram?

I've been advised that the best way to clean my pram is to steam it.

There seem to be so many steam cleaners on the market, but none of their blurbs mention fabrics/upholstery.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place...please can you suggest some cleaners which will be able to get in the nooks and crannies of a pram, but can still be used round the house for the sofas and suchlike

What kind of pram is it?

I used to use the crevice tool on my hoover to get in all the nooks and crannies on my prams. If I couldn't take the covers off to wash them I just did a good wipe down with warm soapy water and made sure they could air dry properly.

Its a maclaren and there are stains on the hood, so a steam cleaner is apparently the way to go.
