Rose - no-one on here can say for sure if it will go through. The only people that can tell you that is GE Money. I know it's easy for me to say but you need to sit tight and see what happens.

I appreciate that - my point is, DOPs aren't an exact science. It'd be no good if someone on the forum said "yes you'll definetely get it approved" and then you didn't. Conversely it would be no good for you if someone said "it won't be approved" - causing you to feel more stressed about it, and then find out GE Money will do it.

We know it's not what you want to hear Rose but you really do have to sit tight. Speak to GE if you like but you're probably only going to get more up tight.

The decision as to wether or not they postpone is based on individual circumstances so no one apart from GE can say for sure and I doubt you will get through to a decision maker on the telephone.

In your situation, I might even try to consolidate the GE money secured loan in with the additional borrowing. Avoids the need to do a DoP and puts the whole loan in one place.

You'll need to check whether everything meets criteria though before applying.
