Buying Wii in USA

Can anyone help im going to US in september and thought about buying a Wii while there would it work back in the UK and would it connect to tv etc and would accessories and games work that are bought in the uk. Probably already discussed im a bit techno phobic thanks in advance.:confused:

    UK games won't work in it.

    How much VAT and import duty would you have to pay, or would you try to smuggle it in?

    It will have a 110v mains adaptor ( We are on 230v ), and will be on the NTSC video standard ( We are on PAL), although some UK sets will work with an NTSC signal.
