Wireless router - do I have to use it?

Might be a 'senior moment' question but am going to ask anyway.

About to enter a new deal with AOL in which they will send me a new router. I currently use a BT voyager 190 ADSL.

Not bothered about going wireless as only have one desktop PC and don't want to fiddle with any settings if not required.

Can I just carry on with current set up? If I do have to use , do I need to check if my PC meets requirements (needs anything extra ?

No, I don't think you have too - as far as I know it's just a promotion to encourage people to join! Best double check on their website tho!

If you don't have too use it - sell it on Ebay - that'll pay at least 1months AOL fee!

You can always turn off the Wireless Connection ( advisable if you're not using it ).

The new router would also have a hardware firewall ( Extra protection ) and more ethernet ports - and potentially offer a faster connection.
