what to put on decking?

What's the best stuff to put on decking that will last and give a nice colour to it.
Last year we put decking oil Wilkos own brand (2 coats) we first power hosed in down and scrubbed with bleach any green that appeared fur to lack of light from a nearby shrub. Looks very white then applied two coats of pine decking oil. The gloss look has faded and I really dont want to have to do this every year.
Any thoughst on a good product to last? Thanks
