Pacerline, the worst delivery company ever??

What a run around! My SE K850i mobile phone developed a fault last week and I had to sent it back to O2. They were really good and dispatched a replacement the same day they received my faulty one, however, the courier was shocking!

I had an email from O2 saying that if no-one was in to sign for the item, Parceline would post the phone or leave it somewhere safe. Fine by me, I live in a nice block of apartments and the lobby is covered by CCTV.

Got home from work on Friday, they'd left a card. Fair enough I thought, I'll give them a call and see if I can collect it from their depot or arrange a re-delivery. I rang the number and it was completely automated so I arranged a re-delivery for yesterday as the card they'd left had a section to sign if you wanted them to leave the parcel in a place you specify. I duly signed the card, taped it to my post box asking for the phone to be left under the post boxes.

I went home at lunch yesterday, nothing. Got home @ 4pm, still nothing so I tracked it online. The tracker said a delivery had been attampted and a card left. What a lie! If that were true they would have seen the first delivery card taped to my post box telling them to leave the phone! They've now sent it back to O2 and I have to start all over again trying to get it delivered! Suffice to say I will be logging a complaint with O2 and Parceline. You can't even arrange a am/pm or Sat delivery because they want an extra £15 for it!

I always thought the signing of the card was only for future deliveries? (i.e you have to snail-mail it back to them and they keep it on file)

Actually, City Link delivery to my works address is good! City Link collections for delivery elsewhere however...

Parcelfarce are dreadful and don't give a monkey's.

you send with them and it gets damaged try and go through the claims procedure they took an age to send me a cheuq which was spelt incorrect sent it back at there request that was 6 months ago had a letter a few weks ago we are sorting it ???////////????????????????????????//////

i used to have parcel force as number 1 but since i have moved they have been good. although divers off all of them lie about weather they have been or not and sometime sign your name for you and leave it outside tnt are great at this.
