Does this tent exist?

Hello All!

I wonder if I can pick your brains? I'm looking for a tent with very specific features. While I have been able to find tents that do have some of the details, I've yet to locate my 'perfect' tent. Here are my requirements;

It must be a 3 person dome tent
It must have an outer and inner
It must weigh less than 5kg, actually, the lighter the better
It must have a minimum headroom of 115cm - preferably more
It must have a porch with a front opening door
It must have a built-in groundsheet in that porch
It must have a protective 'skirt' around the porch to stop rain/mud getting in

It doesn't feel like I'm asking for too much, but I've looked and looked, and cannot find a tent with ALL of the above.

Please, can anybody out there help me??

The Vango Alpha 300 fits all your requirements except for the SIG groundsheet in the porch and the "skirt" - I think its unlikely that you'll find a small tent with a SIG in the porch - even large family tents usually only have a separate one in the porch or a detachable "bathtub" one and most modern dome tents don't have a "skirt" at all.

The Alpha 300 is a 3 person tent, with flysheet plus inner for bedroom. Porch with groundsheet (not sewn-in). Headroom is 105 in the porch and 120 in the inner and it all weighs 4.5kg.

Get over to https://www.outdoorsmagic.com and ask there. There are a lot of real gear freaks on there.

However to me what you are describing sounds like a slightly more specialised tent than the regular family tents.

You'll struggle to get one with a sewn in groundsheet in the porch and it could cost a fair bit too. You could look at Vango, Force Ten, Terra Nova, North Face etc.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die
