Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has teamed up with Daysoutuk.com to offer 5 families* a ticket to this brand new event, taking place from Friday 25 – Sunday 27 July 2008, 10am – 6pm.
For one weekend only, you are invited to Meet Your Navy and discover the past, present and future of the Royal Navy. You will be able to access areas not normally open to the public, see the ships and meet the crews of the modern fleet, marvel at the dynamic (and sometimes daring!) displays and be entertained by a host of other activities and events.
The event also includes entry the world famous historic ships, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and the Mary Rose, as well as one of the UK's leading maritime museum the Royal Naval Museum and Action Stations, a hands-on interactive showcase, which tests both skill and brain power.
An exciting and wonderful day out for the whole family.
