Car insurance - a quick question

Hey all,
Does anyone know which insurance providers take into account where the car is kept? We've just moved from a street in a rough area of salford to a securely gated (fob entry which only residents have), CCTV monitored and regularly patrolled by the conceirge service [ every 2-3 hours ] car park in Manchester. Additionally at work the car has gone from being parked on the street to being parked off street behind a barrier.
Despite this, when my partner phoned Churchill last night he was told that his insurance cost would go up by £86 for the year. This doesn't seem to marry up with the situation i've posted above!
So i'm wondering if anyone knows of / uses any insurance providers who take the location a car is stored into account - as according to churchill - 'oh we just look at the postcode'.
Cheers guys!

Your insurer has taken into account where the car is kept.
Many risk factors are associated with geographical location - not only theft but also the rates of accidents in the area and the associated costs. In this case the increase in risk associated with the accident rate in the area has clearly outweighed any reduction in risk due to the parking arrangements. In any case, secure car parks only influence only one aspect of the risk - theft.0 -
They haven't.
He asked the woman on the phone 'but i've told you I keep it in a secure parking bay underground with a gate' and she just said 'we don't take that into account; we just consider the location geographically'.0 -
More likely to be car jacked here than in a rural location..
Just a high crime area, hence the increase in premium.0 -
Esure take into account where the car is kept "overnight", and if you use various aggregators, they will ask you the question of daytime location, though this maybe useless against some companies such as esure who dont ask where ur car is kept during the day.0

Direct line car insurers- please be aware that according to Direct lLine there has been a 30% error(in their favour of course) on all renewals in the CF postcode area. I rang andn reduced my monthly premium by £24!! The onus seems to be on the customer as direct line are not sending out error notices or new renewal quotes!!! Sounds dodgy to me!!0

No matter what languaage the advisor used, it will have been taken into account! It will not, however, attract the same premium discount as a locked garage because it isn't a locked garage.0
