Ooooooh I have a scheduled quidco payment yay!

Does anyone know how long Lovefilm stays at "validated"? I signed up on 2nd march and cant submit an earnings enquiry because it was over 12 weeks ago. If they are usually this slow then I will wait a bit, if not then I will get on to them some other way.

Evening gang, hope everyone is good. Claireabelle, well done on your quz win, i know who to take to a pub quiz with me then. Not many things done today, but the ones i have done have all been quite big.

-Went along to nursery that i have applied for as they wanted me to go in and meet the other staff and spend some time with the children, got on really well (at least there they bother to talk to me!) The manager was pretty hopeful, but its not up to here, so i shall just have to wait and see, however hopefully she will be able to influence things!
-Have been working loads on presentation for Friday for counselling interview, haven't done a presentation in years, so finding it pretty hard going.
-Tea was left over beans (part of my don't throw food away challenge) and food from the freezer.
    -Looked for mystery shops
    -Have looked for more jobs
-Will type out resignation ready for tomorrow

    Have a great evening everyone.

Hey all, well done of the Beer Baby Claire - good going!

I dried clothes outside, made storecupboard tea (that DD turned her nose up at grrr) did my clicks and fondled the £2 coin a nice lady in Poundland (my new favourite shop) gave me. I also bought a tub to mix my Smart Price washing powder with soda crystals to help remove the 'don't worry it's water based and it washes out' paint from OH's workshirts (tip to other Games Workshop widows - they lie about the paint. It DOESN'T come out easily)

I should have done a letter to Thomas Cook asking for my deposit back, and rooted out the letter from house solicitors about their bill, but couldn't find all the relevant stuff. Grr. And no ebaying thanks to lack of camera until Friday. Double grr.

Still, proper budget starts next week, so getting geared up ready. Feeling good, and Mr Debt Pig has provided a £7 overpayment to British Gas already, so overall a very good day!
This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

  • Evening! Thanks for the congrats... :o I got paranoid that someone was going to mug me for beer baby and got OH out of bed to come and meet me from the bus stop :rotfl: still, he gets 9 pints out of it ;)

Aussie - I work on client sites so the mileage is business mileage, if i rode to my normal place of work (commute) I wouldn't get tax relief... if you have any questions give me a shout, tax is my speciality :D which makes me popular around HMRC deadline time.

    Dear Claire,

I do not want to give Gordon any of my money. In fact, I'm considering waiting round the corner from his house and mugging him one night, to let him see how it feels.

Can you help me without pulling a 'Wesley'?

    Love,

Obi 'My money stays in my bank not yours' SH
