Tuesday 24/06/08 What small dfw things have you done today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today i will:
  • Clicks
  • Check online banking
  • Update spreadsheets
  • Storecupboard meals
  • Definately have a no spend day:o
  • Find card and pressie for nieces birthday from pressie stash
  • Recycle suitable gift bag for pressie
  • Make a loaf in breadmaker
Dry but dull here today:rolleyes: may get a little done in garden later possibly:D
have a good day everyone, catch up with you all later.
Reduce,re-use, recycle.

And I won a bonus 10l keg of heineken - got some funny looks on the train on the way home cradling my beer baby but that makes OH's birthday drinks this weekend a bit cheaper :rotfl: )

    • carry on counting down to payday - roll on Friday! :j

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
