Petrol and Diesel futures purchasing?

I've had a look on the forums and not found this but is there anywhere where I can purchase fuel now at todays price and then call it off as I need it?
Does any fuel retailer allow me to buy it now and leave it in the pumps?
Southwest Airlines for one have saved a fortune by doing this. I wouldn't think the fuel companies would do this for individuals, I'd imagine that if you could you would need to purchase tens of thousands of pounds worth at least.
Good idea though.0 -
It took me a while but i get where your coming from, if a retailer could invent a 'prepay' card which you could buy units (unit being a litre) for use later on.
Kinda like the stamp books for food.
Unfortunatly no retailer would want to lose out on any petrol money by rising prices..
Good idea though, although are you with lloyds? They have a 'save the change' savings account, every time you use your debit card it rounds the figure up to the nearest pount, say you pay 22.43 and 23 is debited, the extra 57p gets swept in to a savers account. Give it a year and you got enough for 1 or 2 tanks of petrol with out even trying.0
