But I would not have been charged £20 final valuation fee!!

I am not sure they would have completed, as:
    a) 0 feedback
    b) the item was collection only.......they were approx 250 miles away
    c) at the end of the auction I called the number ebay had listed for them (due to a and b above) and it was a fakey!

It could still be a genuine buyer though
    a) eveyerone starts at 0
    b) it's very common for people to travel to the other end of the country when buying vehicles, also the buyer can arrange collection by a courier
    c) they might have changed their number since signing up to ebay and forgotten to change it, or made a typo

If you can, email them asking if they are still interested in the bike. If you have their name/address you can look them up on 192.com
Also do an advanced search for 'items by bidder' and include completed listings to see what they've been up to

List again with your own pictures (make them good!) and start the price at £20 more than what you want.. then you will get the fees back. Good luck
Or the seller might just end up giving another 8 quid to ebay. Remember it only attracted 1 bid last time (which may or may not have been genuine) - at £20 higher initial asking price it may fail to attract any interest.

Can't you email the person you bought the bike from & explain.
If they give you permission to use the pics again then tell ebay you had permission to re-list.
