how do i use amazon??

hi i know this is nothing to do with ebay but i thought someone could help. I was browsing throough amazon and noticed that i could buy used items at a fration of the cost, but how do i pay for the p&p is i buy from different buyers at the same time. do they all come from the same place or do i have to pay p&p on each individual item. I want to know so that i don't get to the check out and have massive p&p.

please help! thanks

The P&P is set by Amazon and the rates are displayed here. The items are held by the individual sellers, who send them directly to you. You won't get a reduction in postage (even when buying multiple items from the same seller).
  • As Masonic says you pay the P&P on each marketplace item you purchase as they come from the individual sellers. So sadly you can't benefit Amazons free delivery over £19, on Marketplace orders. Even if you have placed an ordinary Amazon order too you will still have to pay the P&P on any Marketplace item in addition.

Having said that I sell quite a few books on Amazon and from the other side of the fence the system works brilliantly!!

Don't let the Marketplace P&P put you off though as you can probably still pick up new or good quality used books, DVDs etc for less than the Amazon list price even when you take the P&P into account - you might need a calculator to work it all out though!!
