..........I use them all the time to rescue failed computers, floppys are invaluable (in my opinion) and for the sake of a fiver!

Thanks monsterpc. I wasn't being funny, it's just I don't have one currently and haven't found the need for one. :)
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

LOL no problem, oh I have to agree totally with your signature comment as well!
  • Just a quick suggestion, have you seen the avdetrs in daily papers, (The Sun) for pc world. Some great looking towers for about £300, and the back up of a big store, if it goes wrong. Although there after care isn't the greatest.

The cheap Pcworld ones are no good for playing games like the poster wanted

they will have On-board Graphics annd sound, cheapest (low spec) motherboards, minimum of ram (256Mb when you need at least 1Gb for gaming these days) etc....

Like MonsterPc says, better to go for good components , if you find a small local independent PC store they will build you a good Pc to suit what you are after for a decent price...they survive by word of mouth so in my opinion they will not stitch you up and it's easy to get them to look at problems
