  • lots of people don't. the glass jar that you buy babyfood in has a curved neck, if you know what i mean. i never felt like i could mix properly if i heated a jar, and that there would be hot spots.

    i had to warm his milk because he needed lactase enzyme added to it and that only worked in milk at body temp.

    I think this whole thing needs looking at in perspective, at 8 months the baby may be a bit fussy about what it eats but I'm pretty sure the OP said there were some cold things he would eat , in another two or three months baby is going to be progressed so much and doing such different things that this equipment will rapidly become redundant By the time he's a year old he'll be on almost 'normal' food. Why spend so much money on something that will only be partly useful for such a short time if there's a viable alternative ?
    I reinforce the comments about not keeping small childrens food warm you can't be too careful on this so even mini sanwiches etc should be kept with ice blocks when possible. It's not nice when little ones get food poisioning!
