Having a Halifax AND Bank of Scotland card possible?

Hi,
I've currently got a Halifax card with 0% on purchases till Feb 09. This is quickly approaching its limit so I'm thinking of getting another 0% purchases card.
The 2 cards out there with a long (10 month) 0% are Bank of Scotland (part fo the same group as Halifax) and Barclaycard.
So my question is it possible to apply for both a Bank of Scotland and a Halifax credit card? Will the fact I've got a maxed out Halifax card count against me? Does the fact my current account is with Halifax help?
Thanks for any advice.

Yes. HBOS doesn't seem to mind.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -

If you apply for more than one credit card from the same lender, the credit limit(s) on each subsequent card may be reduced to take account of the credit already available on the older card(s).People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0 -

From the Bank of Scotland T&Cs:
*The special promotion rates will not apply to balances we agree to transfer to this account from other cards issued by Bank of Scotland plc. These will be charged at the appropriate standard interest rate shown above for the type of transaction originally carried out.Sept 08 - Mortgage 1 - £66,971 Mortgage 2 - £147,088, Student Loan - £0
