Possible Abbey Transfer Card beware?
Comments

Ah. That would explain the trouble I've been having. I went to a different branch today. The guy there spent ages on hold and being passed around different depts at MBNA to be told eventually that there WOULD be a charge of 2% even from a card that was opened in store. I think the MSE article linked above by Dan should be updated to remove the Abbey Blue/Pink Card from the list.
I applied for another card now instead BTW.0 -
What's the best way of getting corrections done to that table? For example, it seems to indicate that Natwest is always Fee Free, however, from http://www.natwest.com/personal/services/creditcards/index.asp?navid=PERSONAL/ACCOUNTS_SERVICES/CREDIT_CARDS&pid=2#transfersMSE_Dan wrote:For details of BT cards without a fee, see this article http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1122985312,39518,

If you owe money on other credit cards and store cards (but not other Royal Bank of Scotland Group cards), you can move the balances to your card and pay 0% interest for the first nine months from account opening. This service is free to existing NatWest current accountholders (2% of transferred balance for non current accountholders. Min £5, max £49). For balances transferred after the first nine months you will pay intrest at the standard variable rate for your card.Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Cheers for that Paul, Oversight on my part I'm afraid.
The BTs article has been updated with that info for a while, but it didnt find it's way into the table unfortunately. I'll get it updated
