Dealextreme: Items missing from order. Not responding to me

Hello,

I ordered a few things from Dealextreme at the beginning of May. Except for three items I received everything else. They enclosed a slip/tciket stating on the back that my the missing items would be sent in due course. They have never arrived. I paid for everything by Paypal.

I have phoned the company in China and whichever worker I speak to they don't fully understand English. So far I have worked out that they know nothing about me. They can't find my account details or anything. My email address is also brings up no information. I sent an email almost two weeks ago and this remains unanswered!

Anyone know whatelse I can do? The missing items total about £12.00 and were for an upcoming birthday party in two weeks.

Thanks.

    Have you tried paypal?
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

Wow - did you seriously ring China about £12.00:rotfl: ? Seriously, Dealextreme have a pretty good customer service online - use that. They can take a long time sometimes to send items, it may be better to cancel or ask for a replacement.

What do you mean by "you've exhausted the options on site"? You do know that you have to book a ticket detailing your problem/query and they get back to you? I have had a number of dealings with them (double figures) and they have always got back to me - may take a day or two, but never had a problem. It may be that you need to tell them you want to cancel because, as it stands, they will just send the missing items through to you when they have them. They are not actually a shop that keeps items in stock - they order when they receive an order. Some items can take months.

I have heard that Dealextreme are reliable. They hold no details for me. I cannot access my account or anything. They cannot find me on anything and have no record of the order I have open with them. Hopefully that makes sense so trying to tracing my missing items for almost two months has been fruitless since I don't exsist! This was part of the problem I was trying to sort out. They don't know that I am waiting for some items because as far as they are concerned I have never bought anything from them. I have forwarded the emails I have from them bearing all order numbers and relevant information and have still heard nothing.

If you have all the relevant info. you should be able to access the details on the site using the order number. I'm sorry, ther's nothing else I can suggest as it doesn't make any sense to me!

Exactly, my order number and everything is non existent. I cannot access my account and using the "order number" to track anything is not sucessful. That's what I'm trying to say. It doesn't make sense to me either but the problem is that my order has gone missing along with my account information.

They were great with me to begin with and then messed me about for months and NINE months on I am still waiting on a refund! If they wont reply I would start a claim through paypal for non-delivery - I am sure they will find your order then, if not at least you get your payment back for non-delivered items. They messed me about for so long that by the time I realised I was getting nowhere it was too late to claim via paypal. To this date they still message me every three weeks or so asking me to open a new ticket and when I do they reply to the ticket saying they will give me refund and then they do nothing until around 3 weeks later I get another email..
