    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

I try not to shop in Mr T's anymore because he is way too expensive, I head off to Lidl on occasion and use my local shops for other bits, even venturing into Sainsbury's (I hate that place). A trolly of stuff in Lidl will cost me £21.20 compared to £50 in Tesco:eek:

A tired bump from me - had to call the fuzzie wuzzies out this morning to the eejit in the basement who decided to host a party at 1am playing extremely loud music which woke the neighbourhood:mad: Fuzzie Wuzzies came at 4am (not a bad response as I had called them at 3.16am) and told eejit to shut up which he did, peace reigned and I nodded off. Will phone landlord on Monday and then eejit can be evicted as he was on his final warning:j

So do I Numpty - he has been nothing but trouble since he moved in:mad: A Who concert is less noisy than his parties (and the Who were the loudest band in the world).

Hope you had a fab time in Leeds:D

    Sunshine?? What's that? I haven't seen anything sunlike for 2 days :(

Well I made a discovery today, my old ex boss has been demoted and is no longer in a position where he can bully folks, his PA has gone too - he got through 7 PAs in 4 years:eek: - I am not vengeful but I am over the moon:j :rotfl:

Haha - at least they could have given me a few shares, instead of a poxy bag for life [handles broke away on the last one - so much for life]. I will pluck up the courage soon and see exactly how the bill breaks down, it was a 'big' shop, just didn't think4.gif it would that expensive.

Well ..... glad everyone had a good meet, who's got the pics?

Horace, I know it's not the done thing - but I would be gloating if I were you, that would seriously make my day, not that I'm into revenge of course jumping0049.gif!!!
