Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P

hi Z:p
thanks for sparing my blushes....
Rumour has it that I'm too tight to buy the kids coats and I'm spreading the word that Tesco value binliners waterproofs will be deemed the latest fashion accessory - here's hoping they'll believe that one....all I need to do now is source cheap shoes.....For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... that's fetish gear isn't it?
Not quite - fetish gear has zips in it - like the gimp mask I modelled once:eek:
Sipp - be thankful that you don't shrink when you get wet. The weather here lately reminds me of the weather in Singapore in March - hot, humid and wet with torrential rain that comes down so hard that its like standing in a power shower.
I heard that its going to be dryer in some parts next week - it has to be I am going camping:D0 -

Cheap shoes - easy peasy lemon squeezy - cut up some old tyres - stitch on some webbing to hold them onto the feet and voila a set of cheap shoes (well, if they're good enough for Masai warriors to wear when they run the London Marathon then they are good enough for kids).:D0 -

were you desperate to tell us that? you're just asking for a lot of trouble! For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
I have hidden murky depths Bismarck:D A friend needed a model and I needed some money and as my face was covered at all times then I thought that it was a good idea to do it (can't do it now as my tummy looks like an over cooked muffin:eek:  ). I seem to recall that I got about £800:j0

There's obviously a story behind it, bursting to come out..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
The story is as above - nowt to tell really other than its hot in a latex suit and I will never do it again.
Anyway I am always up for a dare - my mates will tell you that. I remember at school and my geography teacher Mr Nex who always liked to have a tea break in the middle of a double lesson (he never shared it with us the rotter) and I was dared to put some stink bombs in his kettle. I filled the kettle with water and carefully placed the stink bombs in the bottom - when it boiled they broke and phewwww:rotfl: I was accused and I looked innocent like butter wouldn't melt:D0 -
