    And just placed my 2nd order too - got £45 for free - every third item was free, so I entered the largest amounts first, then the medium amounts and then the smaller amounts.
    Spent 100.47 and used the extra points too.

    Yep they did this last year as well, I remember seeing signs about it in store. And I don't think it matters what order you put them in, the tills figure it out (then again, we do know what Boots tills are like!:rolleyes: ;) ).

    It's about time everyone did this; I know Woolies do this, and M&S have just started too.
  • It worked the same way last year and should be the same this year too, the tills in store are programmed to work out what is the best offer for you, and therefore no matter what order they go through the till you will always pay the least possible on the 3 for 2 deals. My auntie works in Boots and is in charge of the tils and therefore can always give us GREAT insight into what and how to buy things!!! :)

    yes but if you buy 3 at a time and it doesnt add up to over £40 you have P&P added each time
