gosh...that's two I've missed doing some troll bashing on.

However, guys have left one comment on.....possibly from a troll-ette....commenting that 'this board is failing?'

It was on the sub-board but there was someone who posted today with thoughts of ending it all. Thankfully there were several quick posts. If thats not the opposite of a failing board i don't know what is

Hmm I saw that post.....that shows how supportive people can be here

(although some long long time posters here have always been against the BR&Living with it forum shortly after Mike St Helens started this..)

Debt problems will always be a difficult subject & invoke some strong opinions.

99% of debt stress is the feeling that we are all alone in a dead end situation....when we realise that we are`nt alone then thats the start of the recovery.

The last thing that is needed is criticism....I know how bad the mental side of debt struggle can get :o:o:o.....& how fragile the state of mind is.

If people want to come to this board to criticise then I`d rather they do it to me than to new posters.

On the point of trolls...

This thread has now been locked.. "Official Reciever chasing money owed"

I'm a bit annoyed at this. Members were on there giving advice to the op, the trolls stepped in (against the advice of the sticky!) some of us gave them a bit of stick (rightly so) and now the thread is closed. Did the mods let the trolls win??

The trouble is, when folk like me get their [NHS] teeth into trolls, the thread topic gets serioulsy diverted....and there is the risk of the OP feeling 'what have I started.'


the only thing that will diminish this board will be unfettered troll action.....

Without their re-actionary opinions, the board would not need moderating.



The only satisfaction I get regarding trolls is that, one day, they WILL get theirs........

Do we not think it's just best to ignore the trolls, If no one is reacting to their words then they can't have the fun they're posting for, the post will be deleted and the thread can run on smoothly giving the advice the OP is seeking.. just my thought

I agree, I too feel sorry for the op, but the op seeing members giving the trolls a bash should show them that we are on thier side.

But leaving the thread alone will also show the trolls that thier pointless but provoking comments will not be tolerated. They might eventually get the message that's it's not worth thier effort, get back in thier cots and wait for mummy to feed them....;)
